:: It's time for Mickey Mouse!! ::

Salam everyone,

      Now it's  time for Mickey Mouse.. This is my first 2D cake.. There are still rooms for improvement, but I guess it is a good start. This cake was ordered by my husband's collegue for his 3 year old daughter who really loves Mickey Mouse... So here it is.. The cake was made up of a 7 inch chocolate moist cake and 2 3inch cakes for the ears.. The weight is approximately 1.5kg...  Happy 3rd Birthday, Khaireen! Hope you love the cake :)

Sempena cuti sekolah ni.. baru la sempat terima tempahan kek semula.. Lama jugak blog ni menyepi.. ;)
Tempahan kali ni datangnye dari Kak Sharifah.. Akak ni order rainbow cake with italian meringue buttercream bertemakan Angry Bird.. khas buat anakanda Ali Hadi yang menyambut ulangtahun yang ke 3.. Happy Birthday Ali Hadi! Semoga menjadi anak yang soleh :)

P/s: Bagi yang x tahu..italian meringue buttercream ni bukan macam cream biasa tu.. it is made from sugar, white eggs and butter.. thus explains why the price is a bit costly :) Interested to order? do email us ..

:: My weekend project ::

Salam and hi everyone... Thought of taking a break from baking this weekend.. tp gatai tangan la pulak.. so I decided to experiment some mini pavlovas (around 2.5 inch in diameter)... and since I have extra Vanilla Custard cream and the fresh fruits from the pavlova, I made 2 choc moist cakes and fill it up with the cream and fresh fruits, topped with fresh cream to be shared at school ... super yummy :)

It has been very busy after the last entry.. finally I get bake to again. This order came from a collegue of a friend of mine.. She requested a football themed rainbow cake and Boboi Boy cupcakes for her son's 2nd birthday. So here it is.. the 8"x10"x3.5" rainbow cake is approximately 3 kg and 50 pcs of 2oz choc cuppies with edible image... Hope everyone likes the cake :)
